He hasn’t said anything to indicate that she might actually benefit from having him back in her life. Empathy goes pretty far, but Lucy is both intelligent and more prone to self preservation now! And “like how it was before” is the best you can do?? Don’t you remember that how it was before made you so miserable that it turned you into an asshole??
