A treat for you, patrons! (One week to respond!)

Yes! You deserve one. 

We’re hitting new milestones over and over lately, and between the core bunch of readers who’ve been with us on Patreon for months or more, and the new readers who’ve joined in the last few months (hello!) we keep feeling like we should do something to say thanks.

So…

We’d like you to suggest ideas for end-of-episode closing sketches for Webtoon.

We’re soon to update our nearly 50 Webtoon episodes with totally finalised versions, reflecting the proofreading and art changes we’ve made since the big launch a few months ago. We’re planning to add unique drawings to the end of every episode like this:

The Lucy right there! That kind of drawing, at the very end of the episode. But we haven’t made them yet, and we want your unique ideas!

We think it’d be a fun little flourish to each upload, and it gives us an opportunity to thank you for your support and give a little shoutout for the world to see. A win-win!

Note: this is not an opportunity to get a totally zany idea drawn… it’s very restricted, as we want to make sure each drawing fits as punctuation to the chapter, that doesn’t distract or attempt to extend the story into something it isn’t.

We’re also fully aware that we have way more patrons than we have episodes available — so it’s gonna come down to a mixture of good luck and how appealing your idea is, as to whether we can get to it!

We’ll be taking suggestions for one week — next Wednesday night, the 14th of April, we’ll close it. And on the stream next Friday (the 16th) and maybe the Saturday after, Veronica will try to draw all of them, live!

And — just as a secret heads up — if this goes well, we think we’ll offer similar episode-closing-sketch slots to future patrons as an incentive to join up. So remember to read the form carefully and submit all your great ideas within the next week! We want you to have your chance!
