My nitpick with this ep was Figgins' reason for calling Brittany and Santana in his office. Public high school is supposed to be non-secular. So, someone complaining that Brittany and Santana were kissing "for religious reasons" isn't a reason for him to stop them from smooching. If it's about PDAs then it needs to be across the board; same sex, opposite sex, whatever. The God Squad can exist ... as long as it's not school sponsored or led. You can't (and it hasn't been banned) ban prayer in schools but it can't be school led. It's unconstitutional according to the 1st Amendment. Irks me every tine I watch this ep.

I think there were two big reasons I liked Rory more 1) the small story lines Rory had were slightly more compelling than Joe's. Joe's most compelling aspect was his chemistry with Quinn but let's be honest Dianna Agron was pretty great at having chemistry with anyone that she was paired with. 2) I grew up listening to Celtic Thunder because my dad was very proud of his Northern Irish roots so I've been listening to Damian McGinty since I was 11. That being said does anyone remember when Glee was first airing and people thought Rory lied that he wouldn't be back the next year to get the date with Sugar because he forgot that he wouldn't be back for the next school year when they were dancing at Breadsticks/Sugar Shack?

2025-07-18 07:32:26 +0000 UTCI was never a fan of Joe or Rory either. I like Damian because I know him from Celtic Thunder growing up. That music genre really shows off his unique voice and I wish that he did some of that in the show. I think if Damian chose to stay for s4, we would’ve see more from him. Maybe a friendship with Marley or something? We at least get something in this episode. Like I love the look on Rory’s face during Artie’s song. But Joe is even more boring to me. Samual won because Ryan was fixated on a certain Christian character and put that on him after the other guy quit the GP. Once that storyline ended, they didn’t know what to do with him besides some sparks with Quinn. Which was wasted in my opinion because they did have good chemistry. They were both done dirty. While Mercedes does sound amazing, that was never a top Mercedes solo for me for some reason. I guess because it’s identical to the OG that I would just rather listen to Whitney. But since she doesn’t get a solo in the actual Whitney episode, I’m glad she got the Whitney solo here at least. Also I love Love Shack! A Klaine led group number that has Kurt singing a genre he never gets to sing, with Sugar having a moment and Rachel on backing vocals for once? Sign me up!
