2025-08-02 05:38:17 +0000 UTCThis is the first time Puck has sung since Yes/No (s3ep10) and the first time he is featured in a full song since Extraordinary Merry Christmas (s3ep9). This is the first time since the Pilot that Kurt sings a Broadway song that was actually written for a boy. This is the second time the New Directions make fun of Coach Beiste and apologize through a song. The first one is in the episode Never Been Kissed. This is the second time this season that Will doesn't give the assignment. The first was the Lady Music Week Assignment that Finn gave. It's also the only time Sue gives one. Mistakes: 1. Puck's test answers are rewritten when he receives the test back. 2. Rachel said that she was singing Don't Rain On My Parade since she was 2, but in Sectionals, she said she was singing it since she was 4. (Probably an exaggeration on her behalf). 3. In the beginning of the episode, Rachel mentions that she won't drink any milk, as it makes her "too phlegmy." However, she is a vegan and doesn't drink milk. But she could have been instead referring to almond, soy, oat or rice milk, which she would drink like normal milk being vegan. 4. When Finn is explaining the "plan of attack" on Puck, he accidentally points at Puck's stick figure instead of his own when he says "Blaine, Mike and myself". 5. The Glee Club shouldn't have been able to stay in the school all night (unless they had permission from the principal). 6. When Rachel sings Don't Rain On My Parade, the audio recorded on set is muted in editing and replaced with a studio recording. However, the original audio is reintroduced too soon in Rachel's second attempt at the song, causing her to sing the words "..sky's a.." twice with awkwardly overlapping vocals. 7. Puck studies for and takes a European geography exam. However, after he fails, Coach Beiste helps him study to retake it, and quizzes him on the countries of South America, not Europe. 8. So, a little summary for all the times Rachel’s eating habits change: In The Rhodes Not Taken (s1ep5), Rachel is seen having pepperoni pizza with Finn, even remarking that it is good pizza, although she could possibly have said this to impress Finn, and not seem like a spoilsport. She is also noted as cooking venison in Ballad (s1ep10). However, in Funk (s1ep21), Giselle from Vocal Adrenaline points out that Rachel is a vegan after the group eggs her; and Rachel claims to have had nightmares about the baby chicks' mothers coming after her for revenge after Jesse St. James and the other members of Vocal Adrenaline's assault. However, it is possible that she changed her eating habits since the series started. In Laryngitis (s1ep18), Rachel eats a bowl of cereal which possibly has milk in it. Later, in Michael (s3ep11), she brings Blaine chicken noodle soup. Also in Heart (s3ep14), when the Hudson-Hummels go to The Berry's house for dinner, they eat duck, and in Choke, she claims that she doesn't drink milk before performing because it causes phlegm, implying that she drinks milk, which isn't vegan. She is also seen cooking duck for Brody in Makeover s4ep3) and after she messes the duck up orders a pizza to eat with him. In The Break-Up (s4ep4), Kurt offers to make her a Croque madame, which contains both cheese and egg, and shortly afterward, she cooks an egg for Finn. Then on Thanksgiving (s4ep8), she states that she is a vegetarian, not a vegan. During “School’s Out”, Puck is singing but his lips aren't moving in some parts. During “Not The Boy Next Door”, at the beginning of the performance, Rachel sits in the audience next to Blaine and Will with bangs and a black dress when moments before, she had curly hair and a white dress. The change would be impossible in such a small period of time. (Although she was wearing a wig ready to come on in this song, but she is ready for Don't Rain on My Parade). During “The Music of the Night”, Tina suddenly stands on her feet when she was sitting (after Kurt sings "The music that I write").
