That's something I definitely noticed in this show, the music is always an important part of every moment. In other shows and movies sometimes you don't even notice it's there!

Interesting! So much stuff happened and it was a longer episode, gave it a season finale vibe without actually being the end haha! I think this format is better, it sucks waiting a year for a new season

One thing that makes kdrama so good is their music placements.. Like whenever there's a moment that is sad, thrilling, or happy.. They will always bring the song out subtly to make us feel the emotion even more 😂

It's actually more the season's half point... hotel del luna is only 1 season of 16 episodes, so not quite the finale yet ^^'. Fyi: Most (evening) kdramas tend to have between 16 to 20 episodes, each around 1 hour long and only 1 season, with 2 eps released per week. So no long wait, except for a few days between eps during the show's running period. It's pretty different compared to american tv shows with multiple seasons and sometimes years between them which can get draggy and messy in the end. Once you get used to it tho, it's really enjoyable to be able to enjoy a fully completed show straight away during the 2 months of its air time. Almost feels like watching a really really really long movie if you watch it in one sitting. But with the popularity of webdramas and netflix kdramas becoming a thing, dramas with only around 8/12 eps are starting to become more regular (extracurricular, d.p, move to heaven, sweet home, squid game, my name, +hellbound coming soon...) and some of them were even able to get a second season or more (kingdom, love alarm...). But once again most dramas you will see will only ever be around 16/20 eps, very rarely some might even go up to 25 episodes, but that's about it.
