Important Updates!~ 🐥📣

Ahoi y'all~ Here's a very important update as to what's been happenin' this past week:

So as many of ya have probably heard either on Twitter, through other artists, or just through the grapevine (and as I've also briefly mentioned on the Duck Pond Lounge chat), early this week Patreon updated their ToS in a way that really negatively affects certain nsfw creators XT And especially creators of DiD or anything that can be considered depictions of nonc*n. This leaves the future of my Patreon page up in the air given how they can permanently suspend those who go against their vague and arbitrary ToS without warning, like what happened to a couple of my peers recently. This has been filling me with a lot of anxiety the past week since this is pretty much my job, and losing everything here wouldn't be too dissimilar from getting fired X0

So lately, I've been taking some precautionary measures. Like yesterday, I spent all day manually editing images for 200+ Patreon posts so they show a cropped and blurred image as a preview instead (with the full draw on dropbox as usual). x        0     x
But also, I've been taking time to get my SubscribeStar page up and running soon as well. I actually got it started up last month when my pal TiedTiki set theirs up too, but I digress~ I'm currently planning to post pretty much the same stuffs over there as I do here on Pat, so currently there wouldn't be any major benefit in choosing one over the other I guess~ 🤔 BUT in the event that all of Pat up and vanishes one day, all of the Duck Pond shenanigans will migrate primarily to the new pond over at SubscribeStar~ 🦆⭐

But ye, I plan to keep things here on Patreon running the same as usual (but maybe with a bit more caution) until such a time that Pat will not allow me to continue. I hope this doesn't happen, but with the way things are looking it's best for me to have some contingencies like SubStar in place because it seems more likely than not.

Additionally, I've been thinking of finally opening up my own Discord server in the near future too~ 🤔 I noticed how much folks have enjoyed chatting over on the Patreon mobile app, and it'd be a shame to lose that interaction if my Pat suddenly vanishes. Plus, it'd be a good way of keeping this duck community together too!~ Plus other benefits like using Discord to send updates to y'all easier, distribute art/wips faster, etc. So ye, that's also something I've been rlly looking into lately!~

Anyways, I've been pretty stressed out this past week with all this so I didn't really get all that much drawing done... T    v  T/ (Taxes are not helping either haha..)
I'm hoping I'll have my drive back by at least Monday so I can keep getting some work done~
