I did consider this, and I think the most fun option is that Amber's choices have no bearing on Rob physically, just her. Though she's acting like it, she doesn't have to eat for two. :) Amber just doesn't care.

2024-12-14 12:57:38 +0000 UTCGiven where they are there are certain characters who are highly unlikely to ever interact*. Amber and Jodie's story happens around Corver, which in my mind has a sort of Toronto / greater Ontario, Canada geographical vibe about it, large urban areas with lots of forest around. Brooke, Nico, and the Richmonds being in San Tolsa, which I've always pictured looking like Los Angeles, generally Californian, with plenty of sun, sea, and desert. Cora and Eimi are in Thornton, which I imagine is like York in England, historical, surrounded by British countryside, etc. I mean, they could all live on the same continent despite the real world inspirations, but I prefer to think they are separated by vast distances. *Though I do have an 'out of story' image series I want to complete before the year's done where we will see characters meeting who wouldn't otherwise.
