Current Progress and possibly redos

Hello friends!
I'd like to give a talk of progress, and something I'm thinking about.

Progress

Pretty much it. Sadly. Not that I dont want to dive into it, I just had two commissions and I finished one and the next one will start up soon, and I'd rather get those done so I can focus on the game without feeling pressure of needing to finish those. It would be too distracting. The second commission wont be as long as the first, it should only take a week or so but I cant start it until first payment it made which is due in a day or two.

Something I've been considering is redoing the character art. They would look similar but the coloring/shading would be simplified so it would be easier to keep consistent during "cgs" or
"cut scenes". This means I have to redo a bit, but hopefully it wont take as long since the coloring is easier. I recently made a new live2d model for streaming, and she's done in the simpler style I'm going for, and took about 2 days to make. (granted the game models would probably take longer but as of now they are taking weeks each)

Here is the example of coloring styles. Note that the style may not be the same as simplified as I was messing with a different art style.

That. Being. Said....

I'm trying to decide if I want to rig them facing forward or 3/4 view: So here are some pros and cons on that. I could really use some feedback.

 So most games that have forward characters they are talking to the player as a character in the game, with my game, Colleen is the character, and she is on screen so they would be facing her or each other, which is why I did 3/4 views because it would be weird for them to not be facing each other when talking.

It may not seem like much for the arms, but the arms is what's really holding me back because Colleen has 9 pairs of arms per outfit (maybe more) and so far she has 8 outfits. So that's 72 pairs of arms... or 144 arms... its a lot of fucking arms. and that's just for her. SO...turning the body on X, makes it a bit harder to do some of the arms unless I can find a new way to simplify the process.

So I'd welcome feedback, but for now I'm going to try to figure out a way to do the arms simpler, the new coloring style may help as well.

But yes, art will happen. This will be a bit more work up front but save in the long run, I hope!

I think the simplified coloring looks really good and the 3/4 view is nice but that is a lot of arms.
