Dev Diary

I didnt have a Dev Diary last week as I was releasing the game for you guys. This week has been mostly me trying to recover from my bad back and overworking myself.
However I've been working on trying to get my game up on steam. I've purchased the game page, and I'm waiting for my store page to be approved

 Even after that is done, I couldn't release the game or demo until after 21 days, which should fit with early June release of the demo. However I am able to see what it will look like on steam (although its not public until after approval)

Steam did want me to place a price down, and from the submissions I did get on the feedback form, I went with 3$, however, of course, all chapters will be free here for patreon members.

I will say submitting a game for steam is a huge ordeal, and a big pain in the ass. lol I spent 6 hours trouble shooting why the demo wouldnt launch and its because it put a ; in the launch folder name which windows didnt like, but I wasnt aware of that, it was husband that figured it out.

Besides that I have a few things cooking, I'm hiring a singer and composer for an opening. Trying to prepare some animations for a title/opening/pv/trailer. Still working on characters for chapter 1, I've finished one of like 19 more backgrounds for Chapter 1 lol yikes.

 So for Chapter 1 I need:
2 characters, art and rig
19 background images
1 static overlay
1 animated overlay
2 videos
3-5 pieces of music
Voices for 3/4 characters
new poses and expressions for all characters (amount unknown)

So I've a lot of work ahead of me.
I plan on releasing chapter 1 as an update to the demo, so free, but that would be the last free public update.

Since this is a lot of work, in June to celebrate the release of the prologue, long with what I normally celebrate in June, I'm going to take a week or 2 off to stream and play a game or two I've been wanting, to just allow myself a much earned break before diving back in.
