Guys, this week I've been working on the game's new fighters! :D
Berkane, King Marduk, Maximus and Maki
This has been complex, as I've had to think about different abilities for each one. Some effects are really crazy, but I'll refine them little by little. The battles aren't necessarily complicated and are part of the novel's gameplay.
The programmer had trouble with the battles in the game, so I decided to work on it with the help of information from the forums and the RPG Maker community.
Fortunately, I've managed to find some tricks I wanted but thought would be impossible.
Skills that reflect each ally personality.
Berkane is sadic and mortal, but he can accidentally damage his team. He also uses potions, but with limitations per battle to avoid exceed them.
Marduk is powerful, but will be more balanced in battle; he has been difficult to deal with because he shouldn't die in battle.
Maximus is less strong, but has interesting skills.
Maki is the general support for the team, although she can do some damage to the enemy.
Another idea in the game is that we will usually choose two characters to fight against enemies. This will make the game more challenging, and the player can learn about each character little by little.
The idea of the battles is to create variety in this story, and also like with Grimm, I'll try some spicy things every time the player wins battles against giant, muscle-bound monsters.
