Dancing to the Drum Solo "Karsihlagala" by Issam Houshan

Hey everyone!
Decided I would share this whole drum solo with you so you can see my "Vanilla Ice" costume in action (even if it is not in the best lighting).

After I finish a costume and before I perform in it I always do my best to take it for test run first. This is to check fit and make sure it is ready for a show so there are no surprises. I usually use this drum solo, "Karsihlagala" by Issam Houshan as my musical litmus test. It is one of my all time favorite drum solos. I love its rhythmic variations, and the fact that it is over 7 minutes long, and honestly it just has always "spoken to me". I feel it everywhere and feel like I have danced to it 1000 times and am still absolutely obsessed with it. My logic is if a new costume can get through this drum solo without issues it is ready to head into the show ring, so to speak :)

So here you have it, "Vanilla Ice" s first dance.
I am so happy it uploaded. This 7 minute video took 3 attempts and over 10 hours to upload, that is the current status of my internet. So I am on the list with my provider and hopefully the tech will be out by Mid Next week. My teaching content videos keep timing our and failing at about the halfway mark.

In the meantime I will be hoping to have Tutorial 15 and its corresponding practice videos and section 9 of Aziza up by mid next week as Sunday/Monday I will try and see if I can get it uploaded using a friend's internet if mine is still being so uncooperative 😂😂 (What are friends for am I right?!?)

Do you practice in new costumes before performing in them? Do you have a particular song that you usually use to do so?
