My costumes I made in 2019

In case you every wondered about my costumes!
I make all of my own costumes and I thought I would review the ones that I made or finally finished making in 2019 and explain a bit of my process.

It's a little impromptu collection of clips of me rambling about what I made.

I have a love/hate relationship with costuming/sewing.
Some days I loathe the time it takes, the mistakes I make along the way (but fortunately learn from), and such but I love the final product of having something that fits just how I want it to and that feels true to myself as a performer.
Some days I truly love the process and don't mind spending hours of my life sitting and bringing an idea to life. Its complicated lol.

I also love hoarding fabric and eventually using it soooooo lol there is that.

Which one is your favourite?
Do you sew?
Do you plan to learn to sew in 2020?

If you have any name suggestions feel free to mention them in the comments:)

Thank you sew much for watching and tolerating my rambling on and on β€πŸ™„πŸ˜«

I am totally obsessed with your costumes, I know that you make most of them yourself. The Sea Dragon one is tied for "first place" with Vanilla Ice, in my opinion. Thank you for your reply to Donna Clevenger about the bra base, I will look into that. I LOVE the full skirts, they are so visually beautiful when you are dancing, the movement of that fabric just adds another dimension to the dance. You add a crinoline hem to your skirts... why is that? Does it make the skirt hang better, or does it protect the skirt from damage (so you replace the crinoline at the end of the season)? Thanks again for all the work you put into your Patreon and YouTube vids. You are an inspiration (I am a 63-year-old dancer, discovered it ten years ago!)

These are wonderful! (Now you have to edit a video of you dancing in your 2019 Collection--you know, in your spare time! Hah!) Beautiful work!
