We are adding another layer to our Aziza cake!
We now no longer have our veil!! We parted ways with it at the end of section 3. Are you happy or sad about it?! Lol
This veil in this video is from silks by Celestina
I think they all have been so far actually.
Section 4 is from 1:44 to 2:17 in the audio track and full Choreography video.
In the pose we hold after tossing our veil, our left leg is lifted
So we begin with 6 counts of left hip dominant hip lifts (done to accents in the music)
2 counts of gooey-ly (whatever it is a word now) pushing out right hip forward to line up with the left so that we are squared and centered
4 counts of gooey, tiny undulation down with a shimmy
6 counts of down hips (to accents in the music)
2 counts rotate 1/4 turn to the left (cc-counter clockwise) so that right hip in angled forward.
4 counts of chest shimmy
On first count of next 4 counts lift off of heels and come back down as you shimmy for remaining 3 counts
On1st count of next set of 4 count rotate 1/2 turn to the left (cc) and come down onto heels. Shimmy for remaining 3 counts
3 counts of pelvic drops with back to audience (1 drop per count) while stepping back (1 drop per count per step) on 4th count drop weight onto heels
4 counts of shimmy
On 1st count of next set of 4, in demi point rotate 1/4 turn so that left hip is angled to audience and drop weight back down onto heels. Shimmy 3 counts.
On 1dt count repeat rotation to the right (clockwise) 1/2 turn so that right right is angled forward. Shimmy 3 counts.
With right hip begin 4 counts of hip lifts swinging the right hip forward(1), back(2), forward (3) and centered(4).
4 counts spent travelling backwards (right hip still facing audience) with downwards bellyroll (optional to layer with a little shimmy) (2 counts per belly roll)
4 counts of thr same while turning a half turn to that our left hip is facing the audience but on the first count we reverse the downwards bellyroll to an upward one. Again 2 counts per roll.
Continuing undulating upwards while walking towards audience (with left hip still facing them) 2 counts per upwards roll/undulation.
On 1st count rotate so you are facing forward and then 3 counts of Belly pops (1 pop, 2 pop, 3 pop)
And Voila that is the secret confusing code to section 4!!
Personally that went far better for me than the veil sections did lol. Hope you enjoyed it!
