hi!! Sorry for the delayed reply, I usually do it on a separate layer on top of every layers (in order, from bottom to top : colors layer / shadow layer / light layer / linear or sketch / more light (generally ambiant lighting with an airbrush) / rendering)!! I can make a quick tutorial if you’d like :>
