But in all seriousness, I’m looking forward to seeing how the changes in the background work. I have to say, the background noise that you’ve had in other videos wasn’t there in this one, so that was great! Trust me, so many of us fans were thinking very much the same, feeling overwhelmed in these early episodes…there is so much lore, so much world building, and yet, it can feel almost visually and audibly overwhelming because of how meticulously crafted this show is. I think you’re doing a great job with your reactions so far…ever since your Ted Lasso ones, I’ve enjoyed your insight, and trust me, I am so very, very eager to see what’s coming. And yes, your rewatches will be…rewarding. The sound choices are so particular…whether it’s the sound effects, but also the song choice in the restaurant….it was hard to hear, but Billie Holiday’s “I’ll Be Seeing You” was playing in the background as they talk about the possibility of people they know at work….what a choice. The actress that plays Miss Casey, Dichen Lachman, is so good in so many things she’s been in. She brings a very ethereal presence to all her roles, from Dollhouse (by Joss Whedon of Buffy fame), Altered Carbon, Agents of Shield, and a lot more…I think introducing her in the same sequence as Christopher Walken, who has very much the same presence, was brilliant. I hope you noticed that when Mr. Milchick’s talk with Helly’s outie, that he mentioned “His favorite breakfast was three raw eggs”, and connect that to the questions that Helly’s innie was asked in the first episode. ;) But please…do try to enjoy each episode equally. :) I’ll try to enjoy each of your reactions equally……..but that’s going to get awfully hard to temper in some of the future episodes.
