Pretty good weekend. Yesterday was a day free of working on the game, where I played Magic with some of my friends I have not seen in a bit (really needed that break). Weekdays and tonight was doing a lot more dialogue and code. I also compiled the most recent code and a lot of it seems to be working, but I still have a lot more renders to make and dialogue to link the renders. For the reast of the week, I will be shifting to making renders to line up with all the dialogue I wrote. I did to three renders today, one of those is posted here.
Two lucky people did get to see the most recent build and they seem to like the content that exists but pointed out the gaps in content that I had not finished yet. If I could use an analogy, it is like a three-armed octopus where the tentacles are not continuous. Some parts are only held together by code, some only dialogue, and others are fully fleshed out.
Dialogue is probably the hardest part for me because in general, I speak a bit... robotic. I am a very technical person, so it is a stretch for me to write natual dialogue, so it probably takes me a disproprotionate amount of time to do so I don't sound like a robot (you may have noticed that the dialogue has improved over the course of the game).
Really excited to get this v0.1.5 out and move on to some weekend content, maybe clean up a few things, and then boom, I will have finally hit the v0.2.
