Today is Miloโs amputation. It has been a long and difficult decision making process to get us to this point and we have, quite literally, consulted with the best vet in the world to get their opinion and to get their help on how to give Milo the very, very best.
It is never easy to make a decision like this, ever, but we will always do what is best for the animals in our care. Please donโt worry though, the rest of Miloโs limbs, the rest of his bones are in good condition, and both sets of veterinarians believe that he will make a full recovery and that he will be absolutely fine once weโve been able to remove the troublesome leg.
We ask you today to please keep Milo in your thoughts and send all the healing vibes that you can his way; itโs going to be a tricky week or two whilst he adapts to having three legs but we have a great rehabilitation plan in place for him and his own little recovery pad set up for when he comes back from the hospital today.
We love you Milo.

Milo is home! Heโs doing really well, considering the day he has had! Weโre so glad heโs home and safe. โค๏ธ
