After joking about the subtitle of Ehrgeiz during a tangent in the Final Fantasy VIII series, we created GOD BLESS THE RING as venue to discuss Beat 'Em Ups and Fighting Games. We did a fun episode on Double Dragon with (thanks) Mark, but we haven't really had the opportunity to get any more of these types of pods in, so we're running it back in the form of a premium miniseries.
We've slightly expanded the net to include pretty much anything with action-oriented combat and some semblance of story. The candidates don't fall into the JRPG sphere, but they all share some common DNA.
