TIME IS RUNNING OUT! Vote for Season 2!
Added 2020-03-13 12:00:03 +0000 UTCIt is -Time- to choose our -Fate-.
This poll will run from March 13 to May 4. You've been the crew that has fueled our journey here, so you're going to decide which path we take. If you'd like to abdicate your vote, we have a "Podcaster's Choice" selection. Those votes will be applied to the game our collective heart is closest to at the time of the selection.
When the poll closes, we will be able see who voted for what, so at that time we'll add the individual modifiers based on your tenure and tier as a patron and announce the selection through a podcast.
Essentially, each dollar you've contributed to support the podcast will act as a multiplier for your vote. This'll cap at 30 (our souls are only for sale up to certain point).
We plan to reveal the results during a live recording, so we will not be checking the comments on this post, but feel free to initiate spirited debate below! Hopefully this will be fun process!

His arc is quite parabolic. He certainly carries a burden but it takes quite some time before you really see that play out. And even then, it's a difficult read.

2020-03-30 15:07:57 +0000 UTCP.S. When I played Xenogears, I was maybe 12 for the first time? I can't remember; I've replayed it several times however. I think the last time was at 16. Never once did I think Citan had anything but Fei's best interest because I'm an idiot. Love the angle you guys have where you just don't bring him on missions because of how sketchballs he is.

2020-03-30 15:03:23 +0000 UTCLike I said, Dragoon is a cool choice, but I don't think it held up very well with time. As for Front Mission, I can't say about 1 or 2. I came in at 3 when I was a kid. The story and localization are great; I'm talking Metal Gear Solid levels of story complexity and "fun" factor with said story. And there's an early-game decision you make ( to join your friend in a bullshit task or not ) that *drastically* changes the course of the story. Practically two games rolled into one with great localization. It's so good that I actually have ePSXE on my phone with Xenogears and Front Mission 3 on it. Love the podcast boys, excited for the next episode as we get into the meat of the story with Babel Tower / Shevat

2020-03-30 14:14:58 +0000 UTCAnd as for Legend of Dragon, I'm not sure how far up the list that is in terms of our personal nostolgia, but definitely will be in scope as long as we're doing this. -Chris

2020-03-28 13:25:25 +0000 UTCHey Paul, thanks for joining. I've always been fascinated by Front Mission, but never played one. Definitely writing that one down for discussion. How's the SNES fan translation for the original?

2020-03-28 13:20:28 +0000 UTCAny chance y'all will take a gander at Front Mission 3 since we're going over S-Tier JRPG classics. I would say "Legend of Dragoon" deserves to be on that list, but IMO the localization was bad enough to dip into cringe at times.

2020-03-28 06:20:21 +0000 UTCWe're going to keep doing this as long as passion and time allow. With the great community forming around the show, the passion part is easy. Thank you. -Chris

2020-03-16 14:22:40 +0000 UTCAll of the above? Is that an option? Even so this vote may help guide which to do first but I'd love to hear more and more from the RA crew that I'd be interested in continued content for years to come :)
