Xenogears Perfect Works: History, Part II

It's time to wrap up Eric's reading of the History section of the Perfect Works. Please enjoy his beautiful tones as you learn (or re-learn) about the fall of Zeboim, the Solaris-Shevat War, and the events leading up to Xenogears.
For this episode, we are using the translation found at GameFAQs by int (t3xt, the Perfect Works Translation Project and a scanned translation hosted by Flickr user Ultimate Graphics.

Xenogears Perfect Works: History, Part II

can't help but wonder how Deus's programed humanity managed to re-create Thanksgiving in the Zeboim Empire. The implications are sinister. And then there's Deus's programming. also: I didn't follow how Citan managed to marry and have a kid with a lady from shavat while also being in charge of invading it? like that all seemed to happen way too fast. And makes the whole Citan's family thing even more inexplicable.

I really like this! I think it actually makes a little more sense to hear it as opposed to reading it - although one thing I am *very* grateful for as a writer is the condensed character pages on the Xenosaga Wiki because unfortunately the layout and arrangement in the original is kind of a mess! That said you're doing a great job reading it, and I'm actually very very happy I didn't tie stuff in my main backstory fanfic to specific dates and had the hedge I do of it being a rashomon, unreliable narrator etc because there's just so many little details. And yet I am actually very thankful that they decided to give us those details and try to patch up where the game wasn't very good at showing the backstory and such. Anyway, good job here and keep going! - small note, Uzuki would probably be pronounced differently because a lot of Japanese names have a silent vowel? I would ask a native speaker to be certain - I'm not one, but something to think about :)
