Shadowy Silver Silk
Weapon, varies (requires attunement)
This exquisite magical silk ribbon is the traditional weapon of the Silver Moth Clan's warrior dancers. Once infused with energy, the ribbon animates, floating and trailing the wielder like a sentient being. Despite its delicate, fluttering appearance, it possesses the strength to slice through metal and shatter boulders when wielded skillfully. Moreover, it is imbued with the clan's signature illusion magic, granting the bearer the power of invisibility. This allows them to weave in and out of visibility, performing their mesmerizing yet lethal dance around their foes.

When you’re attuned to this long silver silk ribbon, it floats around your body and follows your movement. However, you need at least one free hand to attack with it. The Shadowy Silver Silk is considered a simple weapon with finesse property and a reach of 15 feet. It deals with 1d6 + your attack modifier of slashing or bludgeoning damage. When wielding the ribbon, you may use your spellcasting ability modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity for attack and damage rolls. Additionally, the ribbon receives a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to half your proficiency bonus, rounded down.
Shadow Cocoon. After hitting a creature with an attack using the ribbon, as part of the attack, you can immediately envelop yourself in a cloak of shadows that make you invisible to any creature that is more than 5 feet away from you until the end of your next turn. This effect ends early if you attack or cast a spell. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended use after a long rest.
