MiP No chapter this week

I'm sorry for the delays, and I expect to be more reliable going forward.

I found your story on YouTube but that ended at chapter 37. I was hooked and found your patron. Then I hit the subscribed chapters and joined. I enjoy the story so much. I did a few fanfics and know the trouble of keeping up a steady pace. Perhaps if you can’t do a character one week put out a note, character insights, fan art. Something to keep us interested?

I wated a year between Harry Potter books... each new release had me rereading the series timed perfect to the release date of the new book. That was just what was done and that was fine. I say this with the utmost respect for the art of writing. Please understand that writing can be burden or joy. The difference between the two is the respect that is shown between author and reader.

2025-10-30 15:34:02 +0000 UTCAs much as I enjoy the series and as much as I empathize with you: a paid subscription is paying for a product, and to be blunt that product isn't being delivered. These "missed weeks" aren't infrequent. Maybe moving to a "pay per chapter" model other authors use would be better for you . Or pausing your Patreon until you have a few chapters written so you have some in reserve for bad/busy weeks.
