Murder Mood

Why does this shower curtain excite me so? It has this 1970's horror movie vibe that I enjoy. Or like, American Psycho. And it fits the mood lately tbh.

I am not naive...I know everything I post is monitored. Whether it's leaked, reposted, screenshotted, saved, or just simply silently watched, there is nowhere I can post that is really "safe" to fully share with you.

And that's a huge bummer because there is so much more I want to share with you. The last couple weeks have been brutal, hell - this whole year has been. I know I've shared some of that with you, but there is so much more. I have friends I can vent to and a therapist, but part of what I've always loved about this weird parasocial relationship you and I have is - I feel like I can tell you anything.

Over and over, a few bad apples have to spoil it for everyone. Over and over and over, men have utterly failed me. They have failed to provide services they were hired to do, they have failed to do their jobs, they have failed to maintain basic human decency. And truly - not all men, lol, because I have SO many wonderful male fans. So this is more an expression of sadness that a few shitty ones have to ruin it for you guys too. I don't enjoy making things gendered in this way, but I have repeatedly experienced this with men, and VERY infrequently with women and non-binary people.

That being said this has pushed me to build an incredible team and community of femmes now. Creatives, photographers, film makers, accountants, admins, tax preparers, assistants, editors, social media mangers, cyber security experts, legal counsel and more. Sounds like...I should start an agency?
