π’ Patron tiers update

The patron tiers benefits were updated.
The main change is the new release flow which was described in the previous post. Patron-only demos are now hosted on itch.io in web format. Collectionists get access to beta testing, then Dandies get the release after testing (and fixing) is finished, and the public one goes live two weeks later.
Thanks to your contribution, the upcoming public release becomes uncensored, so no additional version for Trendies anymore. However access to most of the patreon feed contents and activities remain as a benefit.
Second large change is the voting power calculation. I know there are people supporting MyJLC from the very first days. And while analyzing the previous poll results I caught myself thinking about their votes having different values. So the voting power is now proportional to the total (accumulative) pledge of each patron. Though to balance votes better, it's split between all options you vote for.
Also a few more tiers are added for the future with no unique benefits but vote powers.

I totally understand your point and your choice. Of course, itβs difficult to compete with larger games or those that have been on the market for several years. At my current level, it is too expensive for me to provide really exclusive content, because it would be pirated literally after a few days (which actually happened with the uncensored game). Many creators usually keep quiet about that for a reason, but Iβd like to be honest with my patrons. So ensuring my subs will have real exclusivity costs me, which is reflected in these changes.

2024-08-23 15:41:46 +0000 UTCI think the main point of being a patron is to support the person whoβs doing something interesting. Actually, the development continues thanks to that. And everyone can choose the most comfortable way for such support. So it depends on you actually. Unfortunately, I donβt know your priorities, since you did not participate in the last poll. Though it has shown that voting and taking part in decision making are also important for many people. As for game releases, the former Trendy version becomes free, what can be better?
