Hello, friends of The War on Cars!

It's been a long time since we held a listener meetup, but with summer upon us we decided it's finally time for another one.

Sorta late notice, but please join the hosts of The War on Cars and friends on Saturday, June 1st starting at 3 PM on the Vanderbilt Avenue Open Street in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights. We'll meet close to the corner of Vanderbilt Avenue and Prospect Place. (Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shop is right there if you're looking for a landmark... and a good New York bagel.)

The last time we did this we interviewed listeners for a short episode. We love highlighting listener voices and hearing from people who are working to make streets safer where they live, so please come by if you can. Drinks (beer and plenty of non-alcoholic options) are on us. Plus we'll have discounted merch available for sale and maybe some other surprises.

FYI, this is open to everyone and you don't have to be a Patreon supporter of the podcast to attend. Please bring friends, partners, kids, pets, etc. No need to RSVP, but if you can make it and want to let us know, leave a comment below.

We're looking forward to celebrating car-free streets with all of you in person.
