I actually like the old Titans logo better. Had more style. New one feels generic. My fave NFL logo is the Bucs.

2026-03-22 17:20:40 +0000 UTCI think its important to note that Digital Foundry focuses a ton on the technical side of things - basically detail/realism maxxing in games is really impressive to them. This stuff objectively makes environments, materials, and lighting look more detailed and real. So I can see why they were excited about it. Some people just dont have an eye for art direction when theyre so focused on pushing realism.

I don't play as much as I want to but I'm willing to bet I play more than most dads with a full time job. You just gotta make time when you can. You can still enjoy what you love while being with the ones you love.

2026-03-22 14:25:35 +0000 UTCTo the guy who is a dad concerned about playing games. Year 1 is not too bad, they sleep a LOT. The nest few years are rough, fit them in in the evening. Get games you can pause. Multilayer games a no no. Once a decent age play games with them. As they get older tou will get more time. Mine are 16 and 13 now and after 10 years of diminished gaming im now playing RE9 with my 13 year old son and its AWESOME. Also playing Marathon in the evenings. Hang in there

I really am indifferent more so leaning in the direction of having them in games and I find it strange how there’s arbitrary lines drawn, specifically in video games. If you look at TV they have an abundant amount of unsavory themes (GoT, Euphoria etc) and it brings a sort of life to the piece of work, like “yea I could actually see that happening”. We’ve transitioned into an era where everyone gets outraged over something “problematic” in games not having the self awareness that it’s just that, a GAME. EDIT: The most recent example (besides SF6) is the Sherry and Leon debacle. It’s like, is it weird? Well yea but at the same time could fighting zombies for 40 years bring two people together like that, despite the taboo aspect? also yea. idk

I wanted to try out death stranding on vacation without having to download it to my console, and it was very nice Chris - play 'tak and the guardians of Gross' (probably on a ps2 emulator) for your SotC fix. It's kinda terrible iirc but it is a platforming/giant boss style game I never hear anyone talk about
