2026-02-20 14:46:28 +0000 UTCBrad, check out these new heavy bands! This is my forte For starters, Knocked Loose is like one of the biggest metalcore/hardcore bands right now. My favorite release of theirs is an EP called "A Tear in the Fabric of Life" which is a concept album about a couple that gets into a car crash and only the man survives, and his gradual descent into madness. Other newer bands I recommend: -Silent Planet (metalcore/djent) -Deafheaven (black metal) -Northlane (specifically the Alien album....picture Linkin Park Hybrid Theory but with a cyber aesthetic) -The Callous Daoboys (spastic mathcore a la Dilinger Escape Plan)

2026-02-18 20:34:24 +0000 UTCBrad, a music recommendation I have for a modern heavy band is Pallbearer.. they are hands down one of my favorite bands. They are like a mix of Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. They are the kings of Doom metal in my opinion.
