I'm in the next town over from the town it's based on, can confirm it's exactly like it is in the book, vampires and all. Double shout out to Heart Shaped Box, that one is absolutely awesome. Pretty much anything by Joe Hill is great, def recommend Locke and Key if you're into graphic novels too. Stephen King's short stories are great too, Night Shift, Skeleton Key, etc
