What's up gentlemen, Matty, I'd love to hear how true to the films Indiana Jones feels to play. Does it strike a nice balance between archeology puzzles and large exciting set pieces like the airfield fist fight in Raiders or the tank sequence from Last Crusade? I love those first 3 movies to death and really hope this game is awesome!

Samurai Costanza

One wonders how expensive is too expensive to be the only platform with players sharing their content.

Gr8S

That’s on Elon for making twitter hooking extremely expensive for sony ms etc.

Keep it up WB game bundle sales. I have no idea why some WB game bundles are on sale for a much better deal than the original games. For Black Friday I could have gotten Arkham Knight and all it's DLC for like $10 but instead I got the bundle with all of that plus Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with all DLC for $5. Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox Series X alone was $17 but for $3 more I also got the Xbox One version and all available DLC. I feel like I'm taking candy from a baby!

Howdy summoning slitties! I’m back to give you guys an update! About a month ago I asked for advice on how to get into turn based games, and you guys (Brad, Matty, and Lock) gave me tons of suggestions. I ended up deciding on Baldur Gate 3 and after 168 hours, I guess you could say I liked it. The story was fantastic and player freedom added to it substantially. Basically I echo what everyone else has been saying about BG3 for the past year. But how was the turn based aspect? How did I fare? Still not a huge fan of it, maybe that will come with more exposure, but playing a turn based game in a laid back way really helps. When I want to be fully engaged in a game, I’ll play something real time. If I want to chill and relax and play something, I’ll do turn based. It’s like chess, and I dig it. Thanks for pulling me in to turn based and showing me the light! Onto the next turn based title. Anymore suggestions? I’m thinking something that will help ease me in even more. Maybe Sea of Stars? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Mele Kalikimaka boys! Brad, now that you've had more time to sink your teeth into Infinite Wealth, I'm curious of your high level thoughts. The overall game is fantastic, and I found myself more invested in the story than I usually am. Besides a few pacing issues, I loved the bounce back between Ichiban and Kiryu, and their respective party members. My biggest nitpick is the new offerings in mini-games. The standard fare is all there (Shogi, mahjong, cards, etc..) but the new additions underwhelmed for me. Dondoko Island was tedious and I found myself bored with progression. Crazy delivery was fun for two or three runs, but got old quick. My favorite was sicko-snap, but it only has three courses and that also wore out its welcome. Brad and Jason, is there anything here that makes sense to you, or am I crazy? Also Matty, you still drinking that Ichiban flavored haterade?

I wanna give a keep it up to Night dive studios, they just shadow dropped the Thing Remaster (an inevitable movie for retro rewind) which I can't wait to play. This is on top of Dark Forces Remastered, PO'ed definitive edition, Doom 1 + 2, and killing time resurrected all released in 2024. Their output is truly astonishing and it's all of a superbly high quality. I genuinely don't know how they do it

Hey Summoners, Sort it out Konami. I recently beat Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia in the Dominus Collection on Switch and I enjoyed it. Castlevania has been a blind spot for me in my gaming tenure, so it’s been great to play the games in this collection and see what I’ve been missing out on for so long. After beating Order of Ecclesia I can see why this franchise is so beloved: the atmosphere is excellent, the gameplay is great, the story and lore is neat, the art and character designs are beautiful, the enemy variety is impressive, etc. I had some gripes with the game, such as the bland level design and high difficulty, but the point is that this series is unique and cool. I feel like there is still so much you can do with this franchise and it’s insane that Konami has not released a brand new game for a decade. That is unacceptable! Sort it out Konami, you damn bastards.

Keep it up to Jason! Every time he pops up on Summon Sign or any LSM content, I know I’m in for some insightful discussions and a list of under-the-radar games that I’ll furiously try to scribble down while listening. He’s always full of energy and his passion for the industry radiates. I hope to see him on much more LSM content to come!

Is it just me or does Marvel Rivals level design feel like it was designed by an AI? I love the game, but the levels are just not memorable.

Hand Solo Job

Medal of Honor Frontline is great! Being in a list with that stated criteria higher than Ape Escape, CTR, Spyro 2, Jak II, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Patapon 3, Horizon Zero Dawn, Kingdom Hearts 2 though? NOPE

TheSlayerGiant

That list is embarrassing but I am one of those people who greatly associates Medal of Honor: Frontline with the PS2. I played that game religiously as a kid.

Sort It Out: This removal of the ability to share content directly to X/Twitter from your Switch, PS5, or Xbox is awful—and likely more devastating to gaming social media than we realize. I still go through the current hurdles, but I’m confident most players can’t be bothered scanning QR codes or navigating mobile apps. In the words of my fellow Hispanic swept away in Team America: World Police, "¡NO ME GUSTA!"

Gr8S

Hey summoners. So.. you're going to prison. The sentence is 5 years. You can have in your cell a video game console, with only one disc based item. (So it can be a collection as long as it's a single item, like the God Of War collection on the PS3. And no internet obviously. Which console and game do you choose? I would go for a PS5 and Read Dead 2.

Greetings Summoners, What are your thoughts on the overhauled combat system of Infinite Wealth? The ability to move and position your party adds a layer of strategy and depth that I think Yakuza 7 was sorely missing. Everything about this game really feels like a refinement of the previous one's foundation, except maybe story pacing. I mean, who among us hasn't delayed a rescue mission to run a resort for a few days? Congrats on your first year with LSM, Brad! You've been a great addition to the crew and I look forward to your show every week. Have a, apparently everybody in Hawaii speaks contextual Japanese, kind of day.

Aaron Omar

Hi guys, This one is for Brad. I caught up on Infinite Wealth a few months back and really enjoyed it. The RPG mechanics were greatly improved and the new Hawaii map was refreshing to explore. I’m not sure how far in you are, but I found the game’s recent nomination for Best Narrative to be very surprising. At a certain point, the game splits its focus between Ichiban and Kiryu much like Yakuza 0 did with Majima and Kiryu. I found everything in the Kiryu-focused sections to be really nostalgic and well-written as so many moments and characters from the previous games were revisited. I also found the character work with Kiryu and his new friends to be well handled and it was my favorite aspect of the game. However, I found the main plot, especially the antagonists and their master plan, to be a huge letdown. The reveals were often goofy in that convoluted, ham-fisted Yakuza way. Overall, the story really didn’t hold a candle to 0, 6, Judgment, or the recent Man Who Erased His Name. In short, I’m wondering how you feel the story stacks up to previous entries. I felt that Kiryu and most of the new characters (tomi, chitose, and Yamai) were well written, but the overall story disappointed. Lastly, can we get Takaya Kuroda a Game Award nomination for best performance? The guy is one of the goats when it comes to video game acting, and his last two performances as Kiryu deserve recognition. Thanks and happy holidays.

Hey Summon Signers, Hope you’re all doing great! Maddy, I see you’ve been playing Indiana Jones. Is it still keeping you hooked, or did it lose its whip? I heard your and Cognito's take on The Last Defining Duke, and wow—sounds like another must-play! Can’t wait to experience it when it swings its way onto PlayStation. Big shoutout to Phil for graciously sharing the Xbox exclusives—guess sharing is caring after all! And here’s hoping there’s room for more burgers, fries, and shakes on the menu kind of day! Thanks for keeping the content coming all year long, and I hope you all get some well-deserved downtime soon!

Ding Dong

Hey Summoners! On the subject of Marvel Rivals how are you enjoying it so far? The movement feels a bit weighted to me and slow but still having an alright time playing with friends. What say you with the game? Keep up the great work as always!

Dakota Hinrichs

Are there any “optional” things you HAVE to do EVERY TIME you replay a game? For me, one topical one would be to ALWAYS do the Hazard Room in Sly 3. ALL OF THEM, EVERY TIME. I always see people in Let’s Plays skip it, and it comes back to bite them later because there are moves that they didn’t learn in Sly 2 - all 3 characters can pickpocket now, hello?!, and it reduces how much coin farming to do later to buy everything on ThiefNet. Who knows how many games have really cool tutorials that people miss some excellent dialogue in cause they’re so married to “just wanting to play the game”.

Hi Brad, Matty and Jason, For this week’s “Sort It Out” I nominate IGN’s Top 100 PlayStation Games of all Time. Even knowing this kind of lists always has to account for a big staff with different opinions, when they prefaced the list saying the criteria was “the games when we close our eyes and think PlayStation”, no way in hell would that include games like Deathloop, Medal of Honor Frontline, Destiny, AC4 Black Flag and Walking Dead among other third parties ahead of so many real PlayStation classics. I know these lists are meant for fun, but coming from the biggest professional gaming website, it shows an astonishing misunderstanding of the brand this list supposedly celebrates. Rant over, but Sort it Out IGN, you keep embarassing yourselves!

TheSlayerGiant

Hey fellas I gotta give a sort it out to Machine Games with the PC specs for Indiana jones. I understand needing a decently powered PC to play triple A games… but a 10th gen I7 and a 2060 just to get the game even running at 1080p low settings is absurd, and you need a minimum of 120GB of storage space to match. Sort it out!

Dylbun

Hey Crew. I've been playing Indiana Jones over the weekend and it's absolutely fantastic. It takes me back to my early PC days of Thief, Deus Ex and Riddick. This is not your thrill a minute Uncharted action game. It's slow, it's deliberate and its confident in it's delivery. The 'levels' are huge, sprawling and full of exploration. The writing is mature, understated and really understands the vibe and character of classic Indiana Jones, and the first person perspective is absolute necessary for the delivery of the games tone and atmosphere. The game is not perfect. It certainly does not have the pixel perfect polish of a Naughty Dog game. But Machine Games have really stepped up their game with this release. I'm only 8 hours in (and just reached the 2nd 'level). If this keeps up, it's an easy suprise game of the year. Cheers Phil

Phil Walker

What's up Summoners! Have any of you checked out Nine Sols yet? It recently came out on console and game pass and I've been loving it. It's a metroidvania with a sekiro style parry system that demands combat perfection in a game I haven't experienced since, well Sekiro. Hope you guys find the time to check it out!

TheUnchartedWolf

Hey fellas! Keep it up to Jason. Every time he’s on the show he talks really passionately about a game and talks me into buying it. First Selaco then Cookie Cutter. Both games are bangers. Looking forward to seeing what he’s going to have me spend money on next. Thanks!

Craptain Picard

Hey there fellas! Jason, what's something the Ys games could stand to learn from Falcom's other series, The Legend of Heroes, and by contrast what could Legend of Heroes learn from the Ys games? For everyone, what's a key "lesson" you think one IP could benefit from learning from another IP? It could be in mechanics, design, art, etc., anything really.

Javin Mather

Hey guys, this question will be for Matty, but anyone who has played the game can chime in! With the glowing reviews for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, where do you consider this game in the pantheon of licensed IP games such as the Batman Arkham and Spider-Man games? Thanks for your time - you guys are awesome!
