I continue to be ahead of the current months release schedule. If I finish early I will be spending some time working on some of the more time consuming issues in the upcoming chapters and hopefully even things out a bit. Since I am ahead, I can at this point make another tease post about the upcoming Chapter 6.
At this point in Himeros Hotel I was starting to get a bit giddy as I could smell the ending. The sense that things are starting to come together is lovely and I have this right now as well. There has been a lot of build, a lot of new characters to get to learn, but the next 3 chapters are all about paying off that investment. This starts in the next release with the setup for the endgame.
I mentioned a couple of posts ago that the mainstory/sidestory ratio is starting to swing towards mainstory and that is very much the case. Currently it sits at 2/3 mainstory (by mainstory I mean events/scenes that directly increase a characters love/loyalty). There will be another patron reward scene and as it stands the plan is to add one to each release until it no longer makes sense for the story. Any surplus rewards will roll over into Himeros Horizon.
We will see some slightly different erotic scenes and some (hopefully) interesting character developments. Once again the chapter will end with a bang and another really annoying cliffhanger. Sorry :)
