Post v0.14 Alpha Recap + Office Update

Howdy everyone! The Alpha for v0.14 has been out for about a week now, and I wanted to check in with everyone who has had a chance to play it.

Bugs

Oddly enough, there has only been one reported bug in the week since the launch of v0.14, which is... bizarre. Typically, there are a dozen or so bugs that players encounter that we need to address. So while one bug may sound like a win, I am insanely skeptical.

If you have played v0.14 and have experienced any bugs, errors, issues, etc. Please either comment below, drop a message in the #alpha-feedback channel on our Discord, or use our bug report form.

I will give it one more week, but if there are no bugs and we've done a great job internally with bug testing, then I'll announce the release dates for v0.14, which will be coming to other tiers.

Things Left To Do For v0.14

I still need to complete writing the walkthrough for v0.14, which is the largest piece remaining. However, since it appears there are no issues, I will work on the walkthrough this week.

And that's... it? Unless anyone finds bugs for us to fix <3

The Office

For those who don't know, I have been trying to secure my own office space so I can work from a dedicated location instead of at home. Since April 2024, I have been working from home, and to be honest, it hasn't been the best experience. Having my family and relaxation space also serve as my workspace has been affecting my productivity. The day after the Alpha released, I finally signed the lease and got the keys to my office! It's essentially a room, but I need to travel there, and I think my brain is just accustomed to getting up early, getting dressed, and going to work, so having that will be a huge boon for my development.

The second half of last week, I spent time painting the office and ordering furniture so I can work there. I am moving the furniture tonight, and on Thursday, I am getting the internet set up. So part of my week will be there, building my desk and chair. Finalizing the space so that I can work full-time at the office by Friday, the 3rd, or Monday, the 6th, at the latest.

I am honestly extremely excited and think that this will greatly benefit the game. As it stands now, my best days are usually the one day a week I spend at a local cafe working. Something about getting out of the apartment and going to work makes my brain happy. But now with an office, I can look at naked femboys without getting weird looks from people at the coffee shop. Like, I'm working, okay? Chill.

Wrap Up

That is it! The team had a lighter week with the new release, but now we're going to start ramping up to be fully dedicated to Unity! Probably on the 6th, we'll be almost completely focused on Unity.

Hopefully, we can find any last bugs! But if not, well, then I guess we did a great job testing.
