2024-11-20 19:13:47 +0000 UTCβRemember me, remember me, Iβm too far goneβ The music in this show has always been used as a way to tell the mental state of the characters so to understand it easier(see Hellfire for Caitlynn) Something about that lyric in this episode though makes me think Vander was never going to be healed. Like Viktor said, he was deeply entangled with the beastβs psyche. And even if Vander was healed, what then? We saw how the hivemind acts like shells of their former selves, singing only high praise for Viktor. Even in ep 5 we saw that Salo *doesnβt breathe.* We see Jayceβs breath, but never Saloβs. So I think the βRemember Meβ song was Vander saying to Vi and Jinx to move forward with his good memories, not try and save him from something thats pretty much unfixable.
