July 2017 Tiers Update

Hey everyone! Several people have brought up good questions about how I handle Patreon commissions and Request Stream sketches. I've made some changes to accommodate people who want to buy more than their tier coupon's value, and I've also updated the Patreon Commission Form to make the commission requesting process easier on myself and my patrons.

Gold+ Commission Tiers

I've updated my Gold+ tiers to better match my new commission prices and reduce the confusion around the coupons. I'm allowing all Gold+ commissions to go over their coupon amount, up to a maximum value:

Gold commissions max value: $90

Platinum commissions max value: $150

Diamond commissions max value: $500

I will be stricter about these maximum amounts to make sure I don't take on too much work, and as always I will invoice you for the remainder if your commission price exceeds your tier's coupon value.

This does mean that higher-end commissions such as most Character Sheets will be limited to the Diamond tier. However, you may always use your coupon to upgrade past commissions with additional options; this will allow Gold and Platinum patrons to get more fleshed out character sheets over the course of a couple months.

And don't worry about losing out on your savings, your coupon is always applied to whatever you order for the month, even if it's an upgrade to a past commission!

The max commission values have been added to the Commission Info.

Sketch Request Upgrading

For the sake of time and picture value, Sketch Requests are limited to single characters and cannot include alt versions or heavy mid-stream revisions. However, if you'd like to purchase an Ink, Flat Color, or Alt Version upgrade to your Sketch Request, you may do so regardless of which tier you're in. The price is simply the cost of whatever options you're adding to the picture.

Gold+ Patrons may use part of their coupon to upgrade Sketch Requests higher, provided that you don't exceed your tier's max commission value.

The upgrading rules have been added to the Request Stream Rules.

Patreon Commission Form

I've updated the Patreon Commission Form so that you no longer need to email me your commission description!

Just like the Request Stream Form, now you can put your commission description directly in the form and that's it! Reference Images must be direct image links (.jpg, .png, etc) or an Imgur album, that way I can quickly download the pictures.

The reason I opted for Google Forms over e-mails is to make sure commissioners actually read the instructions and pricing, select the correct options, and to make sure all Patreon commission requests are valid. I'm happy to answer specific questions, but doing so when the answers are available online takes up much more time than I'd like, especially when dealing with many commissioners.

For Character Sheets, you no longer need to arrange the sheet description (or "Reference Sheet") in a collage-style image format, although you can if you want to. There is now a regular text field where you input your description for the poses, expressions, reference images URLs and other options.
