Do you ever look in the mirror and think: “I don’t know who I am, but I definitely know at least six other people who might live in there”? No? Just me? Right then.

Hello, Henchcuties.

This is a totally normal post from your totally normal League-appointed overlord, Wayward. Nothing to be concerned about. No strange muttering. No notebooks with suspicious symbols. No stack of folders marked “don’t open until you’re emotionally stable” (which is why I haven’t opened any of them yet).

Here’s the thing.

I’ve always had a lot of... people in my head.
I mean characters.
Characters in my head.
That I made up. On purpose. Because I’m a writer. And a professional.
I am very normal. Please stop looking at me like that.

Would you like to meet some of them?

You probably shouldn’t.
But you’re here, and I’m here, and the League said I’m allowed to be “constructively productive” this week, so let’s do something slightly unwise together.

This is Character Profile Roulette, where I introduce you to one of the many voices, I mean, character concepts, I’ve had lurking in my head and notebook margins for ages. You get to peek at who they are, and why they probably shouldn’t be left unsupervised in a fictional universe.

But before I pick one...

What kind of introduction are you in the mood for?

• Dark cute - You know the type. They say something soft, then look like they’ve hidden something behind the wall.

• Dark dark - Probably morally compromised. Definitely emotionally unavailable. Gorgeous in the “don’t trust them” way.

• Dark dark DARK - Unlicensed. Unchecked. May or may not have laws where they’re from.

• Normal - Just a person. From a vaguely functional background. Entirely suspicious. Why are they normal? What are they hiding?
