Poll: Your Favourite ways to Engage & Interact?
Added 2024-08-14 23:53:53 +0000 UTCThe situation at Patreon behind the scenes is bad. I've talked about it a bit already: it's going to disrupt a lot of careers and make my job harder. Not to mention that Patreon is forcing me into a ToS with Apple against my consent. We have until 2025 until I'm forced into the new billing model, but there's a very real possibility that 18+ creators will be removed by then (as Patreon is already in violation of Apple's ToS by hosting such content).
I'm getting tired of giving in Patreon's demands and if there's a chance that I'll be banned anyway, what is the point of me working so hard to maintain the system and its reward structure?
So in the event that I have to restructure my entire career and change how I use Patreon (or stop altogether) to make sure my career can thrive, I want to know your feelings about various things.

Eh, you already added a bunch of options and do a lot of different things so there's a lot to cover. Don't worry about it.

2024-08-15 07:32:54 +0000 UTCPerhaps I should've added an option for Lurkers. It's hard to create a simple category for people who don't engage but just like seeing the art or people who don't have any particular needs, wants, or expectations either.
