NITROCAST 74 - No Podcast Edition - OCTOBER 2023 (November Edition)

AYYYYY! Sorry for the late upload, but the non-podcast questions episode is here! Brady and me are both back from our trips, so we should be having a real episode very soon. I'll make a questions post in a few days, but for now here's a quick podcastless Q/A!

OH and just a correction about that Fear of the Spotlight video I mention towards the end... I ended up putting that aside for now. I misread the memo the devs put out lol. Nov 4th is when they took it down, not when they put out the new version, OOPS! So that video will be coming much later, whenever the new version is out.

ALSO, stay tuned until the end for a bonus preview of the Blue Stinger video!

Thank you for answering my question so passionately! The way you described “The Forbidden Room” reminded me of an experimental French comedy called “Fumer fait tousser” (Smoking causes coughing) which follows a similar idea of several unconnected stories, but instead as told by individual characters and you’re left to connect how the events represent the main thread connecting them all together. I got TFR on my watchlist!

Epic Gamer 2507

16:00 I could tell you allot about the question of the 1 million bucks for developing a game. From my experience your game idea is doable with that little budget. With 500.000$ you can pay 10 employees for a single year. So it is dooable. BUT! You need to get good employees! And this is much harder than you think, especially in game development. Depending on the taxation if you pay 50.000$ per employee per year they will have a modest or a very weak payment!. So you need to get people who aree onboard with the idea. Meaning it would take at least half a year just to search out the crew, hoping to get good applicants and also hoping they won't jump ofboard before it is time the contract would start.
