Hey Yall! Its Philip (Announcement)

I'm posting this to give you a heads up that I'm going to be shutting down this Patreon at the end of March. I'll keep posting the ad-free versions of the PDS til then, but feel free to cancel. Also I know this might be weird because its essentially saying no to a meaningful amount of free money, but it feels right to me.

Now, in the near future, I may launch a membership program through ShopDeFranco/BeautifulBastard, but that would serve a different purpose.

I first launched this Patreon to support the shift from Discovery/Group9 and to try to grow out RogueRocket which wasn't thriving as a youtube channel before the pandemic and then we also had to downsize during the pandemic. And so now this money isn't needed since the new main area of expansion this year will be a newsletter, and its already supported by PDS money/staff. If Im going to take your money Id rather it be for a shirt/poster on ShopDeFranco and/or when I can charge a membership through ShopDeFranco so you can see the podcasts live etc.

Thank you so much for your support for the months and years.  BUT if I can leave you with something it's that the future is bright.

We're leaving this leased studio and buying a smaller, more specialized space. Ideally, we land on one of the places that have seating and a stage so we can start doing the podcasts and some shows in front of a 50-100 person audience, as well as let friends use it. Hell maybe even see if we can serve wine & spirits haha

The PDS is still chugging along, I've got plans for the DeFrancoDoes channel, and like I mentioned Im excited about launching the newsletter which is still be tinkered in private :)

I'll never be able to say thank you enough, but I'll keep trying.
