Twitter Announcement + Ramble
Added 2025-02-16 16:02:11 +0000 UTCMade a (hopefully) final announcement over on Twitter/X and I thought I'd share it here as well since some of you may still be relying on it to keep up with my shenanigans. Reminder that yes, all my art ends up here on Patreon, but also if you prefer to keep up elsewhere my links are all listed here.
As a bit of an additional ramble, I know it sounds silly but Twitter did mean a lot to me. Slowly going from feeling like I'd never get a break as an artist to being seen and followed by some of my idols, breaking that 100k mark that I'd have thought absolutely impossible a few years ago, seeing so much excitement and engagement over my silly little guys here and there... it meant a lot! And it sucks to up and leave but I don't feel right about even having that app installed anymore. I'm done with making excuses to stay there.
Once again I need to thank all of YOU here from the bottom of my heart, and I mean it. Even if you're just following me here for free, it's thanks to Patreon in particular that I'm able to let go of things like this. If all else goes down, at least I can feel like there's a safety net for me to keep focusing on what I love the most without scrambling to rebuild a platform, and that my work keeps reaching people who value it <3 I know I'm repetitive but I'm so fucking grateful to have you guys with me

It sucks, I found you because of twitter, so that's a page definitely turning. I emptied my own account weeks ago. Can't speak for the rest, but you have gained my undying support as long as I can afford it, your art, community and yapping/charming personnality mean so much to me. O7 Alex and I think you made the right decision about that shitshow of a platform. Take care
