Eating the World fantasy
Added 2025-04-20 13:35:01 +0000 UTCAs a huge Disney geek I've been to both Disneyland and WDW several times each, and years ago I combined that with my dreams of extreme gluttony and weight gain to come up with the fantasy that is outlined in this story. To have the park to myself as I go to every place that sells food and I eat at least one of everything that sounds tasty, growing to immense sizes as I do so. (And yes, the staff of hyper-voluptuous women is part of my fantasy.)
A few years ago I started to write a story based on that idea, though without the genie, lack of crowds or overt magic. It would be more grounded but still feature implausibly fast and extreme weight gain. But because of how esoteric it was going to be - I would go into detail of each resort's theming, the menus at each place, almost cataloguing each and every dish eaten, details about the parks and the specifics lands and areas within them - I didn't think many people would want to read it, so I shelved it after starting it.
But the idea has never left me, so I decided to do something with the idea. Maybe I'll go back and write the original 'Eating the World' story I envisioned, where the characters actually go to the parks and I cover the entire resort. But that would run much, MUCH longer than this, so don't expect it anytime soon.
