Jan-di tries to remain strong but is clearly devastated by his cold behavior. Meanwhile, Jae-kyung, unaware of their complicated history, befriends Jan-di and even expresses excitement about marrying Jun-pyo, putting Jan-di in an emotionally difficult position.
Meanwhile, Jan-di finds out the grandpa running the clinic is Ji-hoo's grandpa and the two might need help reconnecting. Yijung and Woobin try to shift Jae-Kyung's interest off of Jun-pyo but when that doesn't work, Yijung comes up with a plan to bring Jun-pyo and Kan-di closer, and he needs besty Ga-eul's help to do it.
