After more trainees perform in front of the judges, we see a mix of jaw-dropping stages and some painfully awkward ones. The trainers aren’t holding back either — there’s praise when it’s deserved, but also brutal honesty that has a few trainees looking like they want to sink through the floor. By the end, all the guys get their initial grade from A to F, and you can already tell who’s feeling the pressure to prove they belong in that top class.

lol im very late to this but- originally, the audience wouldve known who is in what position because the signal song comes first and the viewers watch the show because of the signal song. The trainees are to go viral first based purely off of visuals or recognisable faces (nuest, jang monbok) and then they expect you to want to watch the show because you want to know how these trainees ended up in those positions. It worked perfectly back then, eg. park jihoon shooting to no.1 spot purely based on that signal song performance and everyone flocking to watch the show just to see him. It's only bad in these situation when you dont watch the signal song first. I think it was a pretty dumb idea too because i hate spoilers

Which I think they do with most survival shows? But yeh, definitely a spoiler when you haven’t watched any promotional stuff like you would if watching while it airs.
