Added 2025-06-01 00:57:27 +0000 UTCWe return to the memory of Eren's dad as the Crow explains to him about the attack titan and asks him to take the attack titan from him to find and take the founding titan from the King. With this flashback/memory, Eren learns that he only has eight years to left to live thanks to the Curse of Ymir which only allows someone to live thirteen years once they take the abilities of a special titan. This means Armin has thirteen years left since he just took on the colossal titan. The scouts then attend a military audience to go over the findings from the basement and Hange says that they have to consider that the rest of the world as their enemies due to the fact the people outside the walls fear the subjects of Ymir. She also suggest that Eren might be able to use the titan abilities even without royal blood but when Eren realizes he was only able to do so when he touched the titan form of his father's first wife, he decides to keep quiet in order to protect Historia. The government in the walls then decides to release the information discovered in the basement to the public. Some struggle with this information and some don't, but either way, the military is able to thin out the population of titans enough for refugees to return within Wall Maria and the Scouts are able to finally venture out past Wall Maria for the first time in years. They go farther then they ever have, allowing our three friends and the other scouts to find the sea. Its a beautiful moment that then turns dark when Eren realizes that what he once thought was a sign of freedom, the sea, is now only another wall between them and their enemies on the other side.
