My Lethal Man Ep. 1

We start off this new drama very mysteriously as our leading guy, Xing Cheng, does some kind of financial recovery job in exchange for information on a woman, Xin Yan. Come to find out, Xinyan is his fiancée, but she's been sent to a different country for school. At that same school is another woman, Man Ning, and the two look identical. Multiple people arrive at this school looking for Xin Yan, including Xing Cheng, but when some of the shadier ones grab Man Ning instead, Xin Yan takes off to save her doppleganger. Unfortunately, this ends horribly with Xin Yan passing away and Man Ning in the hospital with damage to her eyes. Once Xing Cheng is notified of the two women and their close appearance, he makes a plan. Donate Xin Yan's eyes to Man Ning, and when she wakes up, have her take Xin Yan's place. Of course, this doesn't work out right away, cause who the hell would agree to that? Man Ning freaks, understandably, but then later agrees to do it as a means of paying back Xin Yan for saving her life. This was a crazy first episode but we look forward to seeing where this goes next!

I've been waiting for this reaction so I could resubscribe! I love this show so much that I go back to it often. The male lead became such an issue for me because of his phenomenal acting here, I'm still in shock that I knew him before that cause I had no recollection of him in the previous show I watched. I don't sing the praise of the female lead enough when I talk of this show, but anyone who plays 2 different characters and manage to make them feel completely different deserves respect. The plot of this is wild, so buckle up and maybe take mental notes cause it can become confusing (or at least it was for me for a little while).
