The vote is close, but eventually everyone is sent home, but once there, our male lead and several others realize that life on the outside might be harder or in some cases, things have gotten even worse. When a new card offering a second chance to join the games appears, several take the offer. We also get introduced to a new character, a police officer whose brother might have been part of the games too but never came home, leading him to follow when the players are picked up once again.
