However, this episode was also really sad! So much loss that we weren't prepared for, but we can also appreciate that it was pretty accurate, historically speaking.

It really is a tragedy. The fact that this drama portrayed real life events makes it even more sad for me. Both actors did a phenomenal job bringing their characters to life. I loved all the side characters too! So my interpretation of the ending is when he woke up from that nightmare, he's actually in limbo between life and death. If he walked back out those doors he would've woke up in real life and still been alive.. but he chose to stay with her and peacefully pass away with thoughts of them together π he said he didn't care if it was a dream or death, he'd rather stay there with her. Ugh lol my heart. I'm trying to think if I've seen any historical w/o romance and it's slim to none haha the one I would recommend just for comedic effect is Mr Queen but it's not based on historical facts at all lol. Thank you both for your insights on this series! It was a journey, Junho deserved that grand award for this drama! πππ
