Some Patreon tier changes coming!
Added 2020-07-21 03:30:38 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I wanted to let you know of a small change I'm about to make to the PlayFrame Patreon tier structure.
The Change!
The short version is that I'm effectively swapping the $1 and $2 tier rewards. Henceforth, ALL patrons will be eligible to take part in patron votes, including the vote for bonus playthrough games! BUT from now on, patrons will need to support at the $2+ level to contribute game suggestions for that vote.
The Reasons!
The reasoning for this is that, the more I thought about it, it felt weird that ALL patrons could suggest game ideas for these playthroughs, but only $2+ patrons could take part in the actual vote afterward. It feels more intuitive to me that EVERYONE gets to take part in the final vote to pick which suggestion we play.
We'll try it this way for the next bonus playthrough-picking cycle (which should start this week!), and we can always change it back if it turns out this was a bad idea. :P
