And hey, since I've got you here, let me explain our plans for this Patreon in a bit more detail. It's hard to condense all this info into a 1-3 minute video.

About bonus videos and playthroughs!

As you'll recall from the video, this bonus content will happen whenever we hit a certain number of patrons. Our first bonus video goal is set at 100 patrons, and the first series will unlock at 200. Those numbers are a little flexible, though, and we're going to play things by ear when setting the goal numbers after that. We don't want to space them so far apart that they barely ever happen, but we also want to make sure we can keep up with the work and don't burn ourselves out. :P

How will bonus videos and series get picked?

I'm glad you asked! As soon we hit one of these goals, I'll be asking y'all to submit your ideas/requests for what that bonus video or series should be. Once we have your suggestions gathered, I'll narrow down the list to five picks (a combined batch of the most popular suggestions and a couple ideas of our own). Then it'll be y'all's turn to vote for which one we do!

I'm super excited to see what sorts of things  y'all come up with!

What's this about live Q&As?

Ah yes! I (Dan) have been doing live Q&As with my patrons for New Frame Plus for the last couple months, and I want to give PlayFrame patrons access to those as well! I've set them at the $5 level simply because that's the same tier the Q&As are set at for New Frame Plus, and I want folks to be able to access those at the same level regardless of which channel they'd prefer support.

We do Q&As once a month, usually on Saturday or Sunday around 11AM Pacific. Don't worry, I'll be announcing them in advance!

Why create a PlayFrame Patreon?

I've had folks reach out to me several times and ask how they can support PlayFrame, and I want to give those folks an avenue to do so! I also just want to give PlayFrame the opportunity to grow and succeed independently of our other efforts like New Frame Plus.

I had briefly considered the option of a combined New Frame Plus / PlayFrame Patreon, but it felt like an awkward fit. The two channels feature such different content, and it's very likely that any given person might only be interested in one of the two. This seemed like the best way to give people the ability to support the specific thing they're most excited about.
