Chapter 1

Luffy thought his first interaction with Big Mom’s crew was during his Fishman Island adventure, there was a lot going on, but after the mess with Hordy Jones was done, Big Mom’s crew arrived to cause trouble wanting candy. Monkey handed over a bunch of treasure and picked a fight with the Emperor.

Little did he know his first interaction with a member was way back on Thriller Bark with Lola. He had defeated Moria and helped free her shadow from that Warlord’s collection allowing her to be free and go searching for love once more.

He got involved with Law, captured Caeser Clown, took on Dofflamingo, and headed to Zou. His crew had already helped the minks earning their friendship and favor, but something happened. Big Mom’s crew had taken Sanji...and Caeser Clown.

It seemed Sanji was keeping secrets about his family, and his past had come back to bite him in the ass. Germa 66 had joined hands with Big Mom, creating an arranged marriage between Pudding and Sanji. So the crew split up, half of them going to Wano to help with the bring down Kaido project.

Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Brook were on the Sanji retrieval team joined by the minks Pedro, Pekoms(unwillingly), and Carrot(Surprisingly). They got into Totto Land after bumping into Yonji and Reiju Sanji’s younger brother and older sister respectfully.

It was one meeting after another, as Luffy and Chopper bumped into none other than Pudding, Sanji’s bride to be. Little did they know she was using her acting skills to play the sweet and innocent girl. She tricked the crew and sent them into the Seducing Woods.

Brook and Pedro split off to go after the Poneglyph, Pekoms went missing, but he was okay. Luffy, Nami, Chopper, and Carrot were walking right into a trap.

Brulee was messing with them with her Mirror Mirror fruit powers, along with the Homies the crew had been trapped. Brulee managed to trap Chopper and Carrot in the Mirror World. Dividing the crew even further.

Cracker showed up, but his Biscuit Soldiers were no match for Luffy’s appetite and Nami’s cunning strategy.

Thanks to Lola, Nami had Big Mom’s Vivre Card, and thus had a fragment of her soul, surprisingly this meant she could control and command the Hommies, who were made from Big Mom’s Devil Fruit Power.

Monkey unleashed Gear 4 Tank Man to defeat the Sweet Commander, bringing the number down from Three to Two. His defeat unleashed Big Mom’s rage, unleashing her army to capture Luffy.

He wasn’t looking good, as they found Sanji but the blonde was in double trouble. Sanji had initially turned down the engagement and wanted to return to his crew. His father Judge wasn’t letting that happen, he saw the blonde as a failure and wanted to use him as a sacrificial lamb. He forced Sanji’s hand by getting exploding cuffs on him, threatening his chef livelihood.

Judge was also threatening to bring harm to Zeff and the Baratie. He had hostages and Germa had the means for invading the East Blue crossing the Grand Line was easy for them. Sanji had to do the hardest thing in this moment, fight Luffy…

He couldn’t just go with them, there was too much at stake including their lives on the line. Sanji had to play the role of a Germa Prince, and it made him sick to his stomach.

To make matters worse Luffy had just been fighting a grueling battle against a Sweet Commander, he wasn’t fighting back, he wasn’t defending himself, and he wasn’t backing down. Sanji had to hit him harder and harder, but his Captain wasn’t going away.

While his brothers laughed as Luffy finally fell, Luffy declared that he was essentially going on a hunger strike, refusing to eat any food that wasn’t made by Sanji’s hands. That he’d be waiting right there, starving to death without him.

Things went from bad to worse as Big Mom’s forces descended upon Luffy and Nami. Despite their best efforts, there were too many powerful fighters and dangerous devil fruit holders. The two were captured and brought to the Prison Library.

While it seemed the Straw Hats were defeated Big Mom was preparing not only the Wedding but a Tea Party as well. She called forth her children to gather on mass.

Charlotte Katakuri appeared, and while he wasn’t the first son, he was highly respected as the strongest son of the Big Mom pirates. At first he wasn’t interested in the prisoners, but got curious about how Nami got Big Mom’s Vivre Card.

Even Big Mom’s information network couldn’t find her. As weird as it was, getting her shadow stolen probably saved her life. The trail went cold and Big Mom had assumed she died.

It didn’t go well for Chiffon either, Lola’s twin sister, Big Mom tried to use her, but the giant prince didn’t love Chiffon he loved Lola and was able to tell them apart. This burned the last chance Big Mom had to gain favor with the giants, she took the frustration out on Chiffon beating her whenever she saw her.

Katakuri was relieved to hear that she had survived, and he believed Straw Hat helped her. His siblings believed they killed Lola and took the Vivre Card, but that didn’t make sense given the message. Lola was blissfully ignorant of their mother’s crazy.

He always tried to protect his younger siblings from that. She actually thought Linlin would help them and deep down wish her happiness. It was even signed by Lola.

Sanji had asked for their freedom in order to go along with the wedding, and Linlin accepted, but that was a lie. Katakuri knew it, this whole wedding was a trap. Judge had no idea that Big Mom was about to slaughter them all and take their technology.

Big Mom intended to go on the idea that Lola was indeed alive, so she planned to torture them to find out where Lola was. Which was ridiculous, the straw hats had vanished for two years, there wasn’t a chance they knew where Lola was now. The last place they saw her was in the Florian Triangle, two years ago, that trail was so cold it was iced over.

Though Luffy boldly stated that even if he knew where Lola was, he wouldn’t tell her, if that was what she planned to do to her. He challenged her again, pinned in a jail cell, in a book, and he still had the guts to talk tough. Katakuri weirdly admired that, bonus points for trying to protect one of his little sisters.

His siblings fanned out to take their positions, the Wedding and Tea Party was soon, and guests would be arriving. Everything had to be perfect or Mama would have their heads. She had tricked them and waltzed them into a trap, while weaving Sanji around her finger. The stage was set for their grand show. “And you two won’t be able to stop it, rot here and die you pathetic rats.” She said with such an innocent smile.
