Chapter 15 Clash Don’t Underestimate Us

Momochi Zabuza was a man born and raised during the era of the Bloody Mist. The Mist Village had taken some critical and vicious methods to try and get the best results. Among this era era he was seen as one of the greatest ninja produced. It was said he killed over a hundred of his fellow students. He was known as the Demon of the Hidden Mist.

His skills only grew since then, he became an Anbu one of the most elite ninja ranks of any village, before he was finally recognized and became one of the Seven Swordsman of Mist.

This man was a killer had gotten used to killing at a young age. So when the Mizukage’s reign grew darker and more sinister their ideals clashed. Many wanted him dead. “I’m surprised the Mizukage let you live, let alone walk away with that sword.” Kakashi had heard he had staged a coup, but other than that he had no idea what happened.

Seeing as the Mizukage had lived, it was clear the coup had failed. “That brat was difficult, had my plan succeeded he’d have been dead and I’d be ruling the village.” It was a bitter subject for Zabuza, as one of his followers betrayed him, and his plan for dealing with a Jinchuuriki fell apart.

Little did anyone know that the Fourth Mizukage had already been taken over and made a puppet to a darker and more sinister force. There was some who suspected of manipulation but many simply didn’t care and just wanted him dead.

Had it not been for Haku they’d have all been killed, they escaped with their lives but became marked as Missing Ninja.

“You’ve been a missing ninja for some time, you got a pretty big bounty on your head.” While Kakashi didn’t know the results of the coup, he was aware of Zabuza’s criminal record. He’d been dealing with all manner of corrupt types, causing his followers to get disillusioned with him and left. “Demon of the Mist Zabuza.”

“And I know of you, the famed Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi. I’ll admit I’ve always wanted to face you in battle.”

“Did you now, then let’s have at it!” He lifted his headband revealing the sharingan eye he had. In a flash he was on Zabuza slashing him with a kunai. Zabuza’s body burst into water. ‘A clone…damn it…’ Suddenly another Zabuza appeared he swung his sword, which Kakashi dodged, but then kicked Kakashi towards a lake.

The nearby lake was hidden from view by the forest brush. “Got you!” Zabuza attacked him but Kakashi reacted fast, seemingly slashing through Zabuza’s throat.

This to was a clone as it burst. “Fool!” The real Zabuza appeared. “Water Prison Jutsu!” In an instant the dispersed water suddenly enveloped him locking him in a water prison. The jutsu even used the lake water for extra volume.

‘He’s even stronger than I expected.’ With Zabuza touching the prison Kakashi couldn’t move or escape.

“These brats look too green to be called Ninja, I’ll finish them and the target quickly then take my time dealing with you.” Zabuza conjured another water clone. He was under the impression that it was Kakashi that took out the demon brothers.

“Damn he caught Kakashi-sensei...what are we gonna do?” Kiba asked. Akamaru growled at his side.

Naruto couldn’t help but smirk. ‘Interesting…’ He could feel his arousal stirring. As the clone approached he began to laugh.

“Has he gone mad?” Zabuza wondered.

‘Naruto…’ Zabuza couldn’t see it, but Kakashi could with his Sharingan eye, Naruto’s chakra was swirling with excitement.

The two dropped to all fours and Naruto started the timer.

“Two against one won’t save you, even if all of you fought at once you won’t defeat my water clone!” Zabuza chided.

Naruto’s grin grew wider making him look more fox like. “I wouldn’t be so sure.” He folded his arms. “Keep your guard up Sasuke, in case he sends another clone or has back up, we must guard Tazuna above else.”

Sasuke nodded. ‘What’s he up to, does he really think we can handle this guy...with all that weird training we’ve been doing.’ The memory made him blush. ‘Focus!’

The clone put up a good fight, but the two were in good sync, Kiba and Akamaru alternated as bait to try and land a hit. Zabuza’s clone was good, able to dodge their attacks, but had yet to land a blow. ‘The clone indeed has Zabuza’s skills…’

“Fang Over Fang!” The two whipped up, creating a vortex of wind around them, before launching at their target.

“I got you now!” The clone swung his sword it was aimed right at Kiba...however...when the blade came in contact with Kiba’s vortex, the blade was ripped apart and reduced to water. “What?!”

“Clones can have the skills of the user what they lack is durability. I’m sure that sword on your back is a mighty weapon but it to is a construct made from water and chakra.”

Kiba’s attack hit, ripping apart the clone’s arm, and Akamaru came in and ripped him apart right through the middle. “Yata!” They did it and in four minutes no less.

Kyuubi had been teaching Naruto not just about jutsu but the history of jutsu, their strengths and their weaknesses. Shadow clones will poof if they are hit hard enough. For Water Clones while they were typically more sturdy and can take a couple more hits than some clones, they were still constructs of water.

Thanks to the intense training Kiba’s chakra strength was strong, his fierce winds he made as he spun were mightier than ever. Fang Over Fang was typically a rush attack with a ninja and their nin dog. He could pour more chakra out and use the wind as both a weapon and a shield. Wind chakra was great for cutting, and while it synced with Water Chakra well in combos in this instance Zabuza’s jutsu was outmatched.

Kiba was taking Naruto’s(Kyuubi’s) lesson and comining it with notes from Kakashi and Asuma. “He did it…” Sasuke was surprised.

“Momochi Zabuza...I give you this warning I suggest you not attack us with a clone again. If you do I’ll make you regret it.”

“You think you can threaten me boy?” Zabuza growled. ‘I will not be made a fool of by these green horns.’ He conjured another water clone.

“Kiba back off, I’ll handle this one.”

“Right!” Kiba and Akamaru fell back.

‘Something is wrong, this boy is too confident. Am I missing something?’ Naruto reached into his bag and pulled out a strip of paper. ‘No...he’s just an idiot!’

“I warned you.” Naruto charged forth. ‘Kitsune Sealing Arts: Immobilizing Seal!’ He charged it with chakra, before with a flick of the wrist sent it flying.

Clone Zabuza tried to slash it with his blade, but the paper danced on the wind, dodging the swing. It landed on the clone’s chest and immediately the clone couldn’t move.

“What is this? What have you done?”

‘One of the kitsune sealing arts, by infusing chakra to a talisman one can enact a powerful seal. This seal doesn’t work on humans it works best on objects or constructs.’ Kurama chuckled. Had Naruto put this on Zabuza’s blade it’d be too heavy to lift, and it wouldn’t be lifted until the seal was removed. Nin Foxes used this trick by trapping opponents under rocks or stones, then placing the seal on them making them be unable to be lifted or moved. A rock could feel like a boulder and an acorn could feel like a tree in their hand. It was a great trick, so great because there was an absolute restriction that it didn’t work on people or living things.

In the grand nature of jutsu, clones fell under the position of constructs, so they worked on them as well. Not many were aware of this as not many made contracts with nin kitsune.

“I warned you, so prepare yourself.” The Uzumaki clan were great with sealing jutsu, so Kyuubi focused on training Naruto in such techniques, though the boy spun them his own way. “Uzumaki Style: Body Link Seal Jutsu!”
