Remember movies?
Added 2022-07-03 18:23:32 +0000 UTCMy last poll resulted in the recent Star Trek: Radical Hope video. It was a close contest, as the other option about the episode "The Most Toys" nearly took it. Anyway, it's time for another poll for my $10+ patrons.
My work has largely moved away from popular media outside of the occasional Star Trek video, but leaving it behind completely is not an option. Many subscribers and patrons still want to see my take on the new God's Not Dead movie or politically-charged film like The Matrix Resurrections.
Before the end of the year, I want to do another video about a movie. I'll provide some options below, but if you have a different idea, let me know in the replies. I'll consider adding it to the poll, but no promises. I might think it's too out there.
My big project right now is called The Enforcement of Hierarchies. It's a mini-series that will last the summer. So, this other potential video would debut some time after that.
These are all recent films...

Unless there is some remarkable shift in votes in the next day or so, it looks like The Batman is the winner. Since there is also significant support for Top Gun: Maverick, I will consider doing that in addition to The Batman, some time later, but no promises.

I would compare it to Seven, but The Batman had elements of much older films than that. Kravitzs Selina was a throw back to Femme Fatales, so much so that you can't help but get a punch to the pit in your stomach, as her motorcycle fades over the hill...in Bruces motorcycle mirror. Portraying the Riddler as a Zodiac style serial killer was brilliance. Gone is Jim Carreys camp. No question mark tights here. All these conservatives flipping out about Jeffrey Wrights... Gordon, know nothing about the character. There have been many versions. Hell! In Gotham by Gaslight, he's the villain. Sh**, he's a serial killer. Jack the Ripper at that. It was great to have a Gordon that actually contributed to the program. Same to be said about Alfred. Ben Shapiro complained about how woke it was. He said something about the politics of the whole thing. He knows nothing about the comics and should never let Batman ever leave his lips again. Gotham City has been about the corruption as far back as when Bill Finger and Bob Kane sat down.
